The Kremlin spokesperson Peskov refused to answer whether Russia is providing any assistance to Iran against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Peskov said that Moscow maintains contact with Tehran, but refused to discuss the details of cooperation:
"We maintain dialogue with the Iranian side. We maintain dialogue with representatives of the Iranian leadership. Of course, we will continue this dialogue."
