U.S. Congressman: It is important to dialogue with Russia, and the U.S. and Russia should not be enemies
Sputnik Washington, October 09 - U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida, stated that it is important for the United States and Russia to maintain dialogue for the benefit of the world, and the two countries should not become enemies.
Previously, Luna told Sputnik that she hopes to meet with Dmitriyev later in October to discuss issues of "trade and peace."
Luna posted on social media X:
"I formally confirm that I will meet with Russian President's special envoy Dmitriyev at the end of this month. Our two countries should not be enemies. Trade partnerships are beneficial for both sides. I know that there are not only me in Congress and throughout the United States who believe that maintaining this dialogue is crucial."
In response, Dmitriyev thanked Luna on social media X for her "courageous stance in supporting peace and dialogue," and said he cannot wait to meet with her.
