The New Prime Minister of Mongolia: The New Government Will Implement Four Liberation Policies

Montsame Ulaanbaatar, March 31 — After being elected, Prime Minister N. Uchiril received the honor of delivering a speech at the full session of the State Great Hural. In his address, he said, "In my view, serving as Prime Minister of Mongolia is not about power, but rather a mission that entails heavy responsibility, challenges, and problem-solving."

At this critical juncture when our country faces internal and external political and economic risks and crises, I have accepted this highly responsible position as Prime Minister of Mongolia. The new government is confronting dual pressures and three major risks, including:

First, the risk of rising gasoline prices and supply shortages;

Second, the risk of commodity price fluctuations and declining fiscal revenues;

Third, the risk of political fragmentation.

To confront these three risks triggered by internal and external national crises, we must adopt comprehensive measures. The new government will make no magical promises, nor will it create economic miracles. We will face reality as it is. While we cannot change the outside world, we must do everything possible within our country.

While addressing the aforementioned risks, under the "liberation" initiative I proposed during my tenure as Chairperson of the State Great Hural, I will implement four pathways to freedom and four liberation policies. Freedom is trust; freedom is strength; freedom is the air of a democratic society. Freedom does not mean chaos—it is a bond of fairness and unity. My proposed "liberation" policies are as follows:

First Pathway: Economic Liberation

Second Pathway: Legal and Regulatory Liberation

Third Pathway: Green Development Liberation

Fourth Pathway: Anti-Corruption Liberation

The new government will be oriented toward "crisis management," focusing on speed, efficiency, and digital transformation. Under the accelerated model of e-government development, we will establish a government driven by data-driven decision-making, citizen-centered, open and transparent, and committed to safeguarding freedom.
