According to a report by the Global Times, citing Japan's Jiji Press, on the morning of July 31 local time around 9:00 AM, a serious attack occurred in the Chiyoda Ward of Tokyo, Japan. Two Chinese men walking on the street were suddenly attacked with iron pipes by four men, resulting in serious injuries to the two.

After the incident, the two injured were urgently taken to the hospital for treatment, and fortunately, they are not in immediate danger of life. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has classified the incident as an "injury case" and is conducting a full investigation.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Mitasaburo Police Station reported that after the attack, the four suspects quickly fled towards the JR Akiba Station direction, then took a regular private car with "Kansai license plates" and left the scene. Currently, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is retrieving surveillance footage from the scene and its surrounding areas, and is actively tracking their movements.

A witness immediately called 110 to report, saying, "There was a quarrel, and one person was beating the other with an iron pipe."

Another witness pointed out that several suspects were young men in their early 20s, wearing dark hooded tops or work clothes and safety helmets at the time of the incident. One of them had been loitering near the scene about five minutes before the incident, drawing attention from passersby.

A female witness who commutes nearby recalled, "On my way to work, I saw several people gathered together. It was very hot, but everyone was wearing hats and hooded tops. I heard what sounded like a quarrel, and the sound of an iron pipe hitting the ground. Then I saw them running away, which was really scary."
