Kursk Governor: The Monument to the Hero of North Korea Will Be Remembered Forever on Kursk Land
Kursk Governor Alexander Tsintsaysn said that North Korea is a brother country in the region, as the North Korean army actively helped liberate the border area, taking it back from the enemy. Their monument will be permanently remembered on Kursk land.
Previously, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council and Chairman of United Russia Party Medvedev had arrived in North Korea to attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of North Korea on October 10.
Tsintsaysn stated on Telegram: "As a member of the delegation led by Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, I will fly to Pyongyang, North Korea, to attend the 80th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Workers' Party of North Korea."
He added that there will be multiple meetings in the future.
He emphasized: "For the Kursk region, today's Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a true brother country."
Members of the North Korean People's Army actively participated in the liberation of our region. Today, mine clearance teams are clearing the land and preparing to restore our peaceful facilities.
We will surely always remember the heroes of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on our land."
