Foreign media: Brazil's soybean meal exports reached 19.6 million tons from January to October this year, setting a new record high for the same period.
Research institution Cepea pointed out that strong export demand has added new destinations including Spain, Denmark, Bangladesh, and Portugal, non-traditional markets. This year, Brazil's soybean exports have reached 100.6 million tons, an increase of 6.7% compared to the same period in 2024, with 78.8 million tons exported to China.
This year, widespread rainfall across Brazil has been beneficial for agricultural production, but as of November 1, only 47.1% of the planned area for soybean planting has been completed, lower than 53.3% at the same time last year and the five-year average of 54.7%.
