Lavrov: Russia Has Not Provided Intelligence Data to Iran

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said in a French television interview that while Russia had supplied military products to Iran, it had not offered intelligence assistance: "Our two countries have a military-technical cooperation agreement and we have supplied certain types of military products to Iran, but we cannot accept accusations that Russia has provided intelligence to Iran."

Lavrov added, "Russia has repeatedly signaled to the United States that it is necessary to initiate dialogue to address issues in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East."

He also emphasized, "The coordinates of U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf are widely known; it is therefore not surprising that Iran has launched attacks against them."

Lavrov further pointed out, "The difference between Ukraine and Iran lies in the fact that Tehran has not violated any international obligations, whereas Kyiv has violated every obligation it could possibly violate."

Today, the Iranian president expressed gratitude in Russian to the entire Russian people for their support. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Iran has mobilized over a million people in preparation for potential ground warfare with the United States.
