South Korean passenger car sales in the Russian market fell by 39% in 10 months
Russia Satellite News, Moscow, November 08 - Sergey Chelikov, manager of the analysis firm "Autostat," stated that from January to October this year, the sales of South Korean-produced passenger cars in the Russian market decreased by 39% compared to the same period last year, with a total of 17,000 units sold.
Chelikov said, "According to Autostat's data, the sales of South Korean passenger cars in Russia for the first 10 months of 2025 decreased by 39%, with a total of 17,000 units sold."
He pointed out that the sales of the KIA brand compact cars dropped by 47% to 8,062 units, while the sales of Hyundai cars decreased by 48% to 6,763 units.
He also said, "South Korean brands sold 6.64 million cars globally in 10 months, of which 17,400 were sold in Russia."
