The first train from Russia arrived at the land port of Aprin in Iran. This transport is an important stage in the development of logistics services along the North-South Trade Corridor. A train consisting of 62 40-foot sulfate pulp containers departed from the Northern Railway Test Field along the eastern corridor and reached the Aprin Land Port. The transportation took 13 days.

The transport to Aprin continues the work of the Russian Rail Logistics Company in creating and promoting integrated logistics solutions within the framework of the North-South Corridor. This transport is the practical implementation of our strategic route, aimed at forming and testing new logistics routes as well as developing regular services based on the North-South ITC.

Meanwhile, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency, the starting point of this train route is 900 kilometers north of Moscow, and the route itself lasted 12 days, passing through Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran.
