South Korean media: China has achieved remarkable results despite US sanctions!
On April 10, the South Korean media "News1" published an article stating that while the United States is implementing various sanctions to block China's technological progress, China has consecutively announced innovations, astonishing the West.
From TikTok to DeepSeek and electric vehicle batteries, China has achieved remarkable results that have shocked Silicon Valley and the entire Western world.
While the US is making every effort to ban TikTok, American users are flocking to similar Chinese websites like Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book).
In January this year, DeepSeek shocked Wall Street, Silicon Valley, and the whole world. This is because the chatbot built by DeepSeek surpasses its American competitors in some aspects but costs only about one-twentieth of theirs.
After this news broke out, major American tech stocks plummeted, and Wall Street was hit hard.
In the US, there are voices pointing out that the impact of DeepSeek is the "Sputnik Moment" for artificial intelligence (AI).
In March this year, China's famous electric vehicle company BYD developed a new battery technology that can fully charge the battery in just 5 minutes, once again shocking Silicon Valley.
BYD released a brand-new charging system, which can provide 470 kilometers of range with just 5 minutes of charging.
The charging speed is comparable to refueling an internal combustion engine car, potentially breaking down the entry barriers for consumers who are hesitating whether to switch to electric vehicles.
In comparison, Tesla's Supercharger stations can only charge up to 275 kilometers within 15 minutes.
This also brought a huge impact on the US electric vehicle industry and Silicon Valley.
Despite the US imposing various sanctions such as banning advanced semiconductor exports, it still cannot stop the rise of China's technology.
Bloomberg analyzed that this is because while the US tech industry is complacent and lazy to innovate, Chinese enterprises continue to innovate to survive in fierce competition.
Bloomberg added that simply from the scale of the market, China's tech industry is massive, and domestic competition is very intense. To survive in fierce competition, they have no choice but to pursue innovation.
