The Telegraph: Trump called the UK Prime Minister a "failure without a future," due to the Iran issue

The Telegraph cited sources reporting that Trump referred to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer as a "failure without a future" at a private dinner, "Trump began calling Starmer a failure. He said it during a dinner with friends. He just believes Starmer has no future."

Previously, Trump had described Starmer as a "winner," and this shift in attitude was seen as a sign that relations between the White House and Downing Street may have deteriorated completely.

Recently, Trump publicly criticized the UK Prime Minister for insufficient support in actions against Iran, saying that Starmer "is not Winston Churchill" and is "undermining relations between the two countries." The White House press conference also criticized Starmer's energy and immigration policies as "terrible."

One of the triggers was that the UK initially refused the US use of the Diego Garcia military base to strike Iran on the grounds of international law. On March 1st, Starmer eventually relented, allowing the US to use the base for "specific, limited defensive purposes."
