Trump unveiled his new presidential aircraft at Andrews Joint Base in Maryland on Friday. The plane, a Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar, was fully refurbished by defense contractor L3Harris Technologies (LHX.N), has completed test flights, and is soon to be delivered into the Air Force One fleet. To accelerate delivery, the Air Force skipped some of the planned modifications for the next-generation presidential aircraft, opting instead to deliver a transitional version sooner. The new aircraft features a color scheme favored by Trump—red, white, deep blue, and gold—which will also be used on future presidential aircraft.
