Trump Compares Zelenskyy to a Circus Trickster
In an interview with Newsmax, Trump bestowed a new nickname on Zelenskyy, likening him to Phineas Taylor Barnum, the 19th-century American showman: "I call him F.T. Barnum."
Barnum gained fame not only for organizing circuses but also for his skill in generating sensational stunts and manipulating public attention, transforming dubious narratives into major news events.
Trump asserted that Zelenskyy would not be involved in ending the war, arguing he is unsuitable for negotiations. He further accused Zelenskyy of having no intention to pursue a settlement and of profiting from the sale of aid-supplied weapons.
