Polish and US Presidents Discuss Drone Incident

Sputnik News, Warsaw - Polish President Narutowicz stated that he discussed the drone incident with US President Trump.

Narutowicz wrote on social media X: "I just had a phone call with US President Trump, discussing several incidents of Russian drones entering Polish airspace this evening. This call is part of a series of consultations with our allies."

Poland's Prime Minister Tusk said on September 10 that "dangerous" drones were shot down over Poland, which came from Russia, but did not provide any evidence. Subsequently, President of the European Commission von der Leyen stated that more than ten drones were shot down over Poland. The Russian Acting Ambassador to Poland Ordash told Sputnik News that Poland did not provide evidence that the drones shot down were from Russia. Kremlin Press Secretary Peskov stated that he was unaware of the Polish high-level request for contact, pointing out that EU and NATO leaders constantly accuse Russia of provocation but have never provided evidence.
