We are willing to maintain communication with Russia on this matter."
In fact, Sino-Russian relations can be further upgraded and strengthened—such as by establishing this permanent visa-free system for citizens. Currently, Russia is fully subjected to sanctions from the United States and Western countries. Russia’s past attempt to integrate into the U.S.-Western orbit and its associated dreams have utterly failed. In the coming decades, Russia will have no choice but to look eastward; further strengthening its partnership with China is essential to prevent Russia from being overwhelmed by the West.
Moreover, in terms of economic and trade relations, bilateral trade volume between China and Russia has not yet reached $300 billion, leaving significant room for growth.
