【Text by Observers Network, Pan Yuchen; Editor by Gao Xin】 Recently, Porsche disclosed its sales data for the first half of this year. In the first half of this year, Porsche delivered a total of 146,400 new vehicles to customers around the world, a decrease of 6% compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, Porsche stated that 36.1% of the global deliveries were new energy vehicles, an increase of 14.5 percentage points compared to the same period last year, including 23.5% pure electric vehicles and 12.6% plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

Regarding the global regional markets, North America remains Porsche's largest single sales market, with new vehicle deliveries reaching 43,600 units, an increase of 10% year-on-year, setting a new record for the region's上半年 sales. Porsche stated that its growth was mainly due to an increase in product supply, as well as price protection resulting from the tariff increase on imports in the first half of the year.

In the Chinese market, Porsche delivered 21,300 new vehicles, a decrease of 28% year-on-year. For this, Porsche stated that it still focuses on a "value-oriented" sales strategy, striving to maintain balance between sales and demand.

Additionally, in Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche delivered 35,400 units in the first half of the year; in the German domestic market, the delivery volume was 16,000 units; and new vehicle deliveries in other emerging markets exceeded 30,000 units, an increase of 10%, also setting a new historical high.

Regarding the models, in the first half of this year, the global new vehicle deliveries of Macan reached 45,100 units, an increase of 15% year-on-year, with nearly 60% being pure electric versions. In most markets outside the EU, Macan continues to offer internal combustion engine versions, delivering 19,300 new vehicles; Panamera delivered 15,000 units, an increase of 13% year-on-year.

Matthias Becker, member of Porsche's global executive board and head of sales and marketing, stated that the pure electric Macan occupies a significant share in Porsche's global new energy vehicle sales. Despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, Porsche has successfully maintained stable and balanced sales structures in various regions. The demand for personalized sports cars from customers remains strong, and Porsche will continue to deepen its product layout in this area.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Becker expects the market environment to remain challenging, so Porsche must work closely with sales regions, follow the principle of "quality over quantity", and cautiously balance supply and demand. He said that achieving this is based on Porsche's highly attractive and newly upgraded product lineup, which meets the extremely diverse needs of global customers in terms of power and configuration.
