Orbán called the EU leaders' use of Russia as a threat a "circus performance"

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán called on EU member state leaders, pointing out that politicians who scare their citizens with so-called "Russia threat" should stop this "circus performance." He emphasized that EU leaders' use of such fabricated stories to intimidate the public has led to "it is now difficult to stop this madness and return to normal."

Orbán said on the Kossuth Radio program: "It's time to end this circus performance and start seeking peace..."

Previously, this Hungarian head of government had pointed out that Western leaders are putting the division of Ukraine on the agenda.
