Netanyahu warns Iran: "Even harsher strikes are coming"

Following Israel's military strike on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu warned Iran in an evening speech on Friday (June 13). He emphasized that the actions against Iran were far from over and even more severe strikes were yet to come. Netanyahu called the Friday strike on Iran "one of the largest military operations in history," and urged the Iranian people to rise up against the "evil oppressive regime."

According to AFP, Netanyahu stated in a video address to the Iranian people on Friday night that "over the past 24 hours, we have eliminated Iran's main military commanders, several senior nuclear scientists, attacked the regime's most important uranium enrichment facilities, as well as a large number of ballistic missile depots." He added, "There will be more and even harsher military strikes to follow."

Netanyahu called on the Iranian people to rise up against the "evil and oppressive regime."

In his speech, Netanyahu appealed to the Iranian people to "rise up against the 'evil and oppressive regime' ruling them," and claimed that Israel had launched "one of the largest military operations in history" against Iran. The targets included nuclear facilities, missile depots, and senior command layers.

He emphasized this was to counter the "existential threat" posed by Iran to Israel, and reiterated that Israel would "take all necessary measures" to ensure national security.

Netanyahu said, "Now is the time for the Iranian people to unite under their national flag and historical heritage, defend their own freedom, and resist the evil oppressive regime."
