American think tank advocates: Now is the time to overthrow the Iranian regime.

Containment is no longer feasible. Appeasement is no longer tenable. The Islamic Republic of Iran must be dismantled through comprehensive pressure: strategic, economic, informational, and ideological.

It must be clearly acknowledged that the Trump administration has adopted a direct and uncompromising strategy toward the Iranian regime. It presents Tehran with a stark choice - abandon its nuclear ambitions and regional destabilization or face sustained and escalating pressure. After withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal, the first Trump administration opened a diplomatic window.

On June 13, Israel launched "Operation Lion Rise," targeting key nuclear facilities and military installations in Iran, including Natanz, Fordow, and the Revolutionary Guard Command Center. Senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials and nuclear scientists were killed in coordinated precision strikes.

In response, Iran launched "Operation True Promise Three," firing nearly 100 missiles at Israeli territory. One of the targets was a civilian area in Tel Aviv. Dozens were injured. Air raid sirens and intercepted warheads lit up the sky, marking the most direct and dangerous escalation yet between the two countries.

This is not just a military clash but also an ideological flashpoint. The Tehran regime has made it clear that it will risk war, civilian casualties, and economic collapse to preserve its revolutionary agenda. It is no longer a theoretical threat but an active, destabilizing force that must be dismantled.

Containment has failed - Dismantlement is the only option.

For decades, Western policy toward Iran has been rooted in the logic of containment and deterrence. This strategy has failed. Tehran has exploited diplomacy to evade sanctions and continue uranium enrichment activities. Every limitation has been interpreted as weakness, every delay as an opportunity.

Merely containing the Iranian regime is far insufficient. It must be dismantled structurally and strategically - destroying its tools of repression, discrediting its propaganda, and dismantling its regional influence.

This means a sustained, multifaceted strategy: applying military pressure when necessary, targeted cyber and financial actions to paralyze the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and state-controlled industries, and continuously exposing the regime's corruption, atrocities, and lies.

The events of June 2025 marked an irreversible turning point. The Tehran regime chose escalation, terror, and war. Containment is no longer feasible, and appeasement is no longer tenable. The path to destroying the Islamic Republic is not invasion but comprehensive pressure: strategic, economic, informational, and ideological.

Supporting Israel is opposing tyranny. Supporting Iran is defending freedom. The future of the Middle East depends on whether we have the courage to stop managing the Iranian threat and ultimately bring it to an end.
