Russia's Foreign Ministry: South Korea's Involvement in Armed NATO Unacceptable

During a meeting with South Korea's ambassador to Russia, Lee Seok-pyeong, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko stated that South Korea's involvement in NATO's rearmament process is unacceptable. Russia emphasized that NATO has openly declared its intent to prepare for war with Russia.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry website, the diplomatic meeting took place on Thursday.

The statement from Moscow said: "We have made clear to South Korea that the Republic of Korea must not become an actual accomplice in NATO’s quantitative and qualitative rearmament process, as NATO has openly declared its intention to prepare for conflict with Russia."
