Korean media: Sales surge six times, BYD is more popular than Tesla in the UK market!
November 30, South Korean media NEWSPIM published an article stating that China's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD, has exceeded Tesla in the UK market. In Germany, BYD is also expected to surpass Tesla soon.
Data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) shows that by October this year, BYD surpassed Tesla for the first time, becoming the highest-selling car manufacturer in the UK's new energy vehicle market this year.
SMMT said that BYD's sales in the UK in October were seven times that of Tesla.
