[Kiev Attacked Again: "Drones + Ballistic Missiles"]

On May 24, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that Kiev was hit by a combined attack from Russia overnight. Cleanup work is currently underway in multiple areas. Rescuers released on-site footage and provided details:

-- Solomensky District: A fire broke out on the 4th and 5th floors of a five-story residential building; 30 rescuers and 8 firefighting vehicles were involved in extinguishing the blaze. A man was rescued via a rescue capsule after being poisoned by combustion products and taken to the hospital.

-- Obolonsky District: The fire on the 3rd to 6th floor balconies of a nine-story building has been put out; three people have been evacuated to a safe area, while four others sought medical attention due to acute stress reactions.

-- St. Vasily District: A single-story non-residential building storing paint materials caught fire; cleanup efforts are ongoing.

The Ukrainian Emergency Situations Bureau stated that "casualty figures are still being verified." The attack consisted of multiple waves: On the evening of the 23rd, Russian forces initially launched suicide drone attacks, followed by ballistic missile strikes at night, accompanied by dozens of Shahed drones. Kiev's air defense system actively intercepted the attacks, with debris falling in multiple locations; previous reports indicated eight injuries.

The drone attack on the evening of the 23rd damaged four vehicles in the Holosiivskyi District without any casualties. Debris in the Obolon District struck a mall and residential buildings, causing a fire.
