Russia mocks Pashinyan's "Prosper without Russia" theory: Lavrov says "Believe and it shall be"
Foreign Ministry responds to Pashinyan's claim that "Economic prosperity is possible without Russia"
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently responded to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that Armenia could still achieve economic success even if relations with Moscow cool down.
The diplomat pointed out: If the Armenian leadership truly believes in this prospect, then they themselves must go ahead and make it happen.
Previously, during a campaign rally in Garni, Pashinyan assured voters that authorities were not concerned about potential energy price hikes resulting from deteriorating ties with Russia. He believed Armenia could become a world-class logistics hub, bringing immense wealth to the nation.
