Russian President's Press Secretary: Europe Is Absent from the Ukraine Negotiation Process

Sputnik Moscow, February 19 - Russian President's Press Secretary Peskov stated that Europe is absent from the Ukraine negotiation process, and their statements only serve to prolong the war.

Peskov told reporters: "Europe has not participated in the negotiations, they have not been involved in the entire negotiation process. Moreover, the majority of views expressed by European countries more often contribute to the continuation of the war rather than the peaceful resolution of the conflict."

Representatives of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine held a trilateral negotiation on the Ukraine issue in Geneva, Switzerland, from February 17 to 18. The Russian delegation was led by Russian President's assistant Mekinsky.
