After meeting with Zhang Jianhua, head of China's National Energy Administration, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stated that both Russia and China are willing to enhance cooperation in the fuel and energy sector.
During his working visit to China, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak held talks with Wang Hongzhi, head of China's National Energy Administration.
The Russian Ministry of Energy said: "The two sides discussed current issues regarding cooperation between Russia and China in various fields of fuel and energy. Following the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their shared willingness to further strengthen cooperation and maintain regular dialogue on key issues."
The Russian Ministry of Energy noted: "Novak and Wang emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation, promoting constructive dialogue, and expanding partnerships on issues of mutual concern."
Participants discussed achieving energy equity, expanding access to energy resources, and establishing a balanced global energy development approach that takes into account the interests of all countries.
