Trump said reaching an agreement with Iran is not a necessary condition for the U.S. to end military operations.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that regardless of whether Tehran reaches an agreement with Washington, the United States will end its military actions against Iran.
Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday: "No, they don't need a deal."
The American leader added: "We'll end (the operation) when we realize they've been completely driven back to the Stone Age and have entirely lost the ability to acquire nuclear weapons—regardless of whether we reach an agreement."
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched multiple strikes targeting locations inside Iran, including attacks on Tehran, causing destruction and civilian casualties. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli territory and U.S. military targets in the Middle East.
