Escalation of India-Pakistan Conflict: India Responds Strongly and Sets Two Preconditions
India has responded! After Pakistan disclosed detailed information about the Indian Air Force's losses, including the type of fighter jet shot down, the location where it was brought down, and even the hospital where the injured pilot was treated, India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh responded. According to The Hindustan Times on May 29th, Minister Singh stated that India had demonstrated a strong but restrained response to Pakistan's provocations during "Operation Sindhur." The Indian defense minister claimed that although the Indian military had the capability to cause greater damage, the government chose to display discipline and strategic coordination to the world.
Moreover, India's defense minister issued stern words to Pakistan, stating that India's approach in dealing with Pakistan has undergone a fundamental change. From now on, regardless of when negotiations take place, only discussions on terrorism and Pakistan-administered Kashmir will be entertained. We will not discuss any other issues with Pakistan. Frankly speaking, as observers, we must admit that India is indeed tough-talking.
Recently, Pakistan released detailed information about India's air combat losses, providing irrefutable evidence of its achievements. However, judging from India's response, not only does India refuse to acknowledge these facts, but it also claims to have shown restraint towards Pakistan. Consequently, India imposed two conditions on Pakistan: one, to strike against terrorists; and two, to cede part of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Of course, Pakistan will completely ignore India's demands. Nevertheless, regardless of how India tries to cover up, countries will make their own judgments on the true situation. India cannot hide this for long. In fact, some meticulous netizens in India have noticed that despite India's claim of shooting down eight F16 fighters, the Indian military has not held any award ceremonies or honored the soldiers who achieved such remarkable results. This is highly suspicious. It seems that the Modi government will find it quite challenging to fully conceal the truth.
