According to US officials, the number of aircraft destroyed and damaged in Ukraine's drone attacks on Russian air force bases is far less than what Kyiv claims, Reuters reported.

The attack on Russia's strategic aviation air force bases was the result of Ukraine's special forces operation named "Spider Web". The core of this operation involves transporting suicide drones via trucks to related areas and launching large-scale attacks on airports.

The propaganda of the Kyiv regime claimed that a total of at least 40 Russian planes were destroyed in this attack.

However, the enemy's plan did not fully materialize. The air force bases in Amur Oblast, Ryazan Oblast, and Ivanovo Oblast remained undamaged. In Irkutsk Oblast and Murmansk Oblast, Russia's Aerospace Forces lost 7 Tu-95MS and 4 Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, with another 1 "Bear"-style bomber damaged but repairable. The aforementioned situation was reported by Russian media after releasing satellite photos.
