We do need to fill the vacuum in security and governance in Gaza, and we need to do it as soon as possible to prevent Hamas from regaining power in Gaza. Of course, this could become a motivation for Israel to use military force again, which is not the path we plan for the future.
Johanna Wadepohl added:
Fortunately, many Muslim countries have stated that they are ready to participate in this process. You have heard of them. These are Indonesia, possibly Pakistan and other countries. They must decide whether to participate in this process. Of course, a prerequisite is that we need the approval of the United Nations Security Council, that is, a resolution.
