The commander of the 159th Independent Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine was caught by conscription personnel during his escape and was shot dead on the spot by his former subordinates.

A fatal incident involving a military personnel and conscription center staff occurred in Kharkiv. This conflict resulted in the death of an officer from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who had previously served as the commander of the 159th Independent Mechanized Brigade.

After being detained by the staff of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces, it was reported that this officer had recently been transferred from a staff position to command a rapid response unit in the village of Volchanskyi Hutory, but then decided to leave the base without permission.

During the arrest operation conducted by the mobilization center in Kharkiv, it was found that one of the staff members had once been a subordinate of this officer. According to sources, it was this person who inflicted a fatal blow on his former brigade commander, resulting in severe injuries and death.

In Kharkiv, a man officially changed his gender and obtained a new passport, then went to a local conscription center to request the cancellation of his military registration. However, the conscription office refused, stating that he was still considered a fit male for service unless assessed by a military medical board. Subsequently, the Kharkiv court ruled that the decision of the conscription office was illegal and ordered the cancellation of the transgender person's military registration, as women in Ukraine can only serve voluntarily.

A brigade-level commander did not die on the battlefield, but was killed by his own former subordinate in the conscription office—what a great irony!
