Foreign media: Chinese drone manufacturer DJI has filed an appeal with the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals against the decision by the U.S. Department of Defense to include it in the "Chinese military company" blacklist.

DJI was added to the list in 2022, although this did not immediately lead to a ban, it issued a risk warning for U.S. entities collaborating with DJI and may encourage the U.S. Congress and other agencies to increase restrictions.

In its lawsuit, DJI stated that the "illegal and misleading" decision by the U.S. Department of Defense labeled it as a national security threat, resulting in the loss of multiple commercial contracts, including collaborations with U.S. federal agencies, both in the United States and internationally.
