Russia: The U.S. attempt to accuse China of nuclear testing is unfounded

Reference News Network, February 18 report: According to TASS, on February 17, Russia's permanent representative to the Vienna-based international organizations, Ulyanov, emphasized during a meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, Floyd, that the United States' attempt to accuse China of conducting nuclear tests is baseless.

Ulyanov wrote on the "Telegram" social platform: "We exchanged views on the current situation regarding the treaty. I emphasized that the United States' attempt to accuse China of conducting nuclear tests is absolutely baseless."

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said earlier this month that the United States' accusation against China for conducting nuclear explosions has no factual basis, and China opposes the United States fabricating excuses for its own resumption of nuclear tests.
