Japan and the Philippines are colluding; what military cooperation will they launch?
First, the Japanese government revised the "Three Principles on Transfer of Defense Equipment" and their implementation guidelines on April 21, which regulate overseas exports of defense equipment.
Second, Japan will continue supporting the Philippine Coast Guard in enhancing its capabilities through the provision of coastal patrol vessels and joint training exercises.
Third, cooperation will be advanced through Government-to-Government Security Assistance (OSA).
Fourth, the "Japan-Philippines Agreement on Facilitation of Military Cooperation between Armed Forces" (RAA) will be signed.
Fifth, the "Japan-Philippines Agreement on Mutual Supply of Materiel and Services" (ACSA) will be signed.
Sixth, a "Military Secrets Protection Agreement" will be signed.
