Azerbaijan and Armenia announced the text of a peace agreement!

On August 8, the foreign ministers of the two countries signed the agreement during the visit of Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan to Washington. The draft document specifically stipulates the following:

Baku and Yerevan have abandoned their territorial claims against each other.

Both sides refuse to use force against each other.

There will be no third country's troops on the borders of the two countries.

Azerbaijan and Armenia will delineate their borders based on separate agreements.

The two countries declared condemnation of all forms of separatism and terrorism and intend to combat these phenomena within their jurisdictions.

Yerevan and Baku cannot use domestic laws as an excuse to fail to fulfill the terms of the peace agreement.

Both sides will establish a joint committee to monitor the implementation of the peace agreement.

Within one month after the peace agreement comes into effect, Armenia and Azerbaijan will withdraw their lawsuits against each other on the international stage.

Both sides can sign separate cooperation agreements in various fields such as economy and culture.
