Russian troops have dealt a heavy blow to Ukrainian forces by utilizing fiber-optic FPV drones, and the situation in the Zaporizhzhia front has seen new developments.

At the frontline of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian troops used fiber-optic FPV drones to strike two armored vehicles that were part of a Ukrainian counterattack.

On April 8th, the Russian Telegram channel "Military Chronicles" reported that yesterday, Russian troops almost completely controlled the Lobkove settlement in the Zaporizhzhia direction, defeating an incoming Ukrainian infantry battalion, eliminating 76 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroying one tank and two armored vehicles.

Currently, the direction of Russia's offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region is northward, towards Zaporizhzhia city. This is quite interesting, as it appears that Russia has the intention of gaining control over the entire territory of Zaporizhzhia before reaching a peace agreement.
