Argentina's Ambassador to Russia, Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieira (Энрике Игнасио Феррер Виейра), told Russian business advisory news agency (РБК) in an interview that Argentina is willing to consider the issue of sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine if it receives relevant proposals.
The head of the Argentine embassy in Moscow pointed out, "Such issues need to be discussed at a high political level. However, if the security of Ukraine requires the participation of the Argentine armed forces, the Argentine president would certainly be willing to consider this possibility."
This Latin American diplomat said that the Argentine armed forces have extensive experience in participating in various peacekeeping operations and missions under the framework of the United Nations (ООН).
