German media: China is vigorously developing all energy models

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen admitted on Tuesday that abandoning nuclear energy was a "strategic mistake" and announced the EU's plan to build modular nuclear reactors by 2030. However, German Chancellor Scholz stated that exiting nuclear energy was a decision made by previous governments and that this decision is irreversible. The newspaper "Die Welt" wrote:

"Looking at the current situation, it is very frustrating. Narrow-minded ideology and short-sighted legal experts are dominating German politics. In China, everything is decided by engineers. Faced with the sharp increase in global energy demand, especially the energy demand growth of industrialized countries and large emerging countries, China is vigorously developing all energy models: renewable energy from the sun and wind, as well as traditional energy models from natural gas and coal, while also building nuclear power plants on a large scale."

Over the past few decades, the Chinese leadership has been systematically and plannedly laying out. Implementing standardization of reactors, expanding mass production capacity, ensuring supply chain security, and making large-scale investments in education and scientific research. In China, it only takes five years to complete and put into operation a nuclear power plant.

The irreversible thing is not the decision to exit nuclear energy, but the situation brought about by foolish politics in Germany. This situation is both a political demand and has solid roots, shaping a certain nature. However, as an industrialized country, Germany has long-term survival opportunities only if it views energy policy as power politics."
