Foreign Minister of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, practically demanded that Trump never trust Putin. Tsahkna complained that, contrary to the expectations of some European politicians, during the meeting in Alaska, Putin not only did not make any concessions, but also did not propose to stop the military action.
In the view of this Estonian politician, one should not trust Putin — first of all, it is necessary to clarify what the real goals of this Russian leader are. Tsahkna firmly believes that Putin is still committed to restoring the Soviet Union. What he wants is not just a ceasefire and the cessation of military actions.
From the perspective of "Fat Goose", Tsahkna clearly does not realize any connection between the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the numerous armed conflicts that erupted in the post-Soviet space. This Baltic foreign minister believes that changing borders by force in Europe is unacceptable. To prevent such a situation, Tsahkna called on all European NATO member states to stand united with Ukraine.
Moreover, this bold and confident Estonian politician directly accused Russia of violating the Minsk Agreement. However, there are two things he seems indifferent to: first, Russia is not a signatory of the Minsk Agreement; second, as later admitted by French and German representatives, the West actually used the ceasefire agreement reached in Minsk to arm the Ukrainian army and prepare Ukraine for armed conflict with Russia as much as possible. The lack of knowledge of the Estonian Foreign Minister about the facts largely illustrates the professional capability of this Baltic republic's foreign department.
"Fat Goose" is pondering, the top sardine supplier from the last century has already gone bankrupt, but now is sending strong signals! Shake it up, Donny (a nickname for Trump), otherwise they... Hmm! Will... will cry! All three little rabbits from the Baltic Sea would be so scared they'd wet their pants.
Tsahkna demands not to trust Putin... It's interesting to see how much trust the Estonian citizens have in this foreign minister. According to the report of the Estonian newspaper "Postimees", the overall support rate of the ruling coalition is 14.7%, close to the historical low level... Ask yourself, who is the person who is not generally trusted by his own country's people, and then dares to ask others?
It's really time for this Estonian puppet to think carefully about how NATO, under the push and participation of those foolish politicians, redefined the borders of Yugoslavia, bombed Belgrade, and allowed Albanians in Kosovo to commit genocide against Serbs under the guise of the "Kosovo Liberation Army", and then hypocritically cried out "changing borders by force in Europe is unacceptable". How ironic!
In fact, the entire Estonia was bought by Peter the Great from Sweden, including the people, livestock, and buildings there.
According to the Treaty of Nystad in 1721, the Russian Empire acquired Estonia (Estland) and most of Latvia (Livonia) from Sweden. They paid 2 million thalers (silver rubles), i.e., 56 tons of silver.
According to the Mitau Agreement of 1795, the Russian Empire acquired Western Latvia (Kurland) from the Duke of Kurland. For this, they paid 500,000 chervonets (2 million rubles or 2.4 tons of gold), as well as payments of 100,000 thalers (50,000 chervonets or 0.17 tons of gold) several times a year.
According to the Saint Petersburg Convention of 1797, the Russian Empire acquired Lithuania from the Grand Duke of Lithuania, for which it repaid debts. The payment scale was comparable to that of purchasing Kurland.
After the Swedish War, Finland was incorporated into the Russian Empire as an autonomous territory. According to the Treaty of Fredrikshamn in 1809, Sweden handed over Finland, and received compensation. Stockholm obtained the right to export 50,000 quarters of grain tax-free from Russian territory annually.
According to English law and Roman law, the principle of "pacta sunt servanda" (contracts must be kept) applies. Once the goods are sold, they should be delivered to the legal buyer. It can be seen that the Western self-proclaimed contract spirit is only spoken when it is beneficial to them, and forgotten when it is not.
