Russian Media: BRICS International Beauty Pageant 2028 Planned to Be Held in China!

According to the event organizers, hosting the competition in China will bring together outstanding representatives from various countries, creating a large-scale platform for experience exchange and elevating the project to a new level.

The 2028 BRICS International Beauty Pageant may be held in China, with the competition's press office informing TASS of this news.

The key phase of preparations involves formal negotiations with Chinese authorities, led by the competition chairperson, Dinara Salikhova.

Representatives from business and public organizations interested in promoting international cultural and economic cooperation participated in the discussions.

After the meeting, both sides signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding.

The document stipulates that the 2028 BRICS International Beauty Pageant will be held in China, along with organizing annual national selection contests.

"This agreement marks an important step forward in human, cultural, and economic cooperation among BRICS nations, and also confirms the growing interest of the international community in this project," the press office stated.

China also expressed its hope to host international forums, business meetings, and expert seminars under the pageant framework, inviting representatives from the business and investment sectors of BRICS countries.

Previously, TASS learned that the 2027 competition will take place in India.

The inaugural BRICS International Beauty Pageant was held from March 1 to 8, 2026, in Kazan, featuring 49 contestants from 17 countries.
