[Israel Continues to Pursue, Last Key Planner Behind the October Attack Hit]

On May 15, Israel launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting Hadaad, commander of Hamas's military wing. According to The Washington Post, Israeli authorities believe Hadaad is currently the only surviving senior Hamas figure who participated in planning the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, and Israel has been tracking him for a long time.

According to messages conveyed by Palestinian sources, at the time Israel struck a residential building in the Rimal area of Gaza City, followed by flames rapidly engulfing the entire structure.

The "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation on October 7, 2023, inflicted heavy losses on Israel and nearly derailed Netanyahu’s political career. Subsequently, Netanyahu’s government launched fierce retaliation against top Hamas leaders, particularly those believed to have orchestrated the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation.

In July 2024, Israeli forces killed Hamas military leader Deif and political leader Haniyeh; in September of the same year, they killed Sinwar, considered the mastermind behind the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation; in May this year, Israeli air strikes in Gaza killed Muhammad Sinwar, brother of Sinwar.

In a sense, this airstrike operation has seriously violated the Gaza ceasefire agreement. However, in reality, this ceasefire agreement had already begun to lose effectiveness, as to this day Hamas refuses to disarm and Israel refuses to withdraw.

Additionally, Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Katz issued a joint statement saying: Hadaad is involved in planning the killing and kidnapping of Israeli civilians and military personnel, and in recent months has continued rebuilding Hamas’s military capabilities—violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
