[Russian Strategic Bombers Attacked, Could a Similar Incident Happen in China?]

Four strategic airbases deep within Russia's territory have been attacked. After almost two days of developments, the basic situation has become relatively clear. Russia has lost about 12 strategic bombers, including 8 Tu-95s and 4 Tu-22s, with no Tu-160s affected. It is unclear whether the A50 AWACS aircraft and Il-76 aerial refueling aircraft have been damaged. The main attack method involved equipping truck containers with wooden architectural components, within which dozens of small first-person view (FPV) drones were installed. These drones infiltrated Russian territory in a dispersed manner, using rented Russian transport trucks and hired Russian drivers. The installation of drones inside the truck containers should be completed at a concealed location not far from the target airport, such as an abandoned warehouse, and kept on standby. Upon the start of the operation, unsuspecting Russian drivers would drive the trucks to a launch position about 10 kilometers away from the airport. Under the unified command of Ukraine's Security Service, the FPV drones would automatically take off, with remote operators in Ukraine using a command and control system established via communication satellites (possibly "Starlink") to manipulate the drones in first-person view mode, using small bombs and suicide attacks to destroy the bombers.

Understanding this process, it is not difficult for our country to take targeted precautions based on actual circumstances. Several aspects of work need to be done well. First, strictly control explosive materials (Figure 1). Strengthen checks on vehicles, vessels, and personnel smuggling explosives into the country, and enhance the production, circulation, and use of civilian explosives. Given that China is a major producer and user of drones, controlling them is quite challenging. However, successful experiences exist in setting up permanent and temporary no-fly zones for small low-slow UAVs, such as important areas and large gatherings. Military airports should have permanent no-fly zones.

Second, strengthen joint defense by military, police, and civilians around military airports, ports, ammunition depots, and other alert targets. Enhance the effectiveness of existing joint defense mechanisms, expand the scope of joint defense areas, assign responsibilities to militiamen reserves and "Chaoyang Dama," and remain vigilant in both peacetime and wartime. Militia responsible for external vigilance must carry jamming devices for UAV flight and communication.

Third, in addition to mid-to-high altitude air defense and anti-missile tasks, the anti-aircraft and anti-missile positions around airports should focus on intercepting small, slow, and low-altitude flying objects. Therefore, laser weapons and microwave weapons should be equipped to have the ability to kill small drones within three to five kilometers.

Fourth, build hangars and hangar facilities. Aircraft should never be left outdoors after completing missions (Figures 2.3). High-value aircraft generally have hangars, hangar facilities, or underground tunnel hangars. The ultra-high-strength cement concrete developed by Academician Qian Qihu's team has begun to be applied to hangar construction. This permanent hangar cannot be penetrated by concrete penetrating bombs, let alone ordinary ones. The PLA's meticulous and scientific management of weapons and equipment and war reserve materials is absolutely world-class. Some are stored and used until they are completely retired and still look like new. This may be related to the national character; being frugal and accustomed to saving makes it hard to tolerate wastefulness.

Fifth, resolutely eliminate spies, traitors, collaborators, and internal traitors. In Chinese history, apart from heroes who fought for the country and sacrificed their lives, there have been many traitors, collaborators, and internal traitors. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Han Shizhong trapped Jin Wuzhu's hundreds of thousands of Jin troops in Huangtian Gorge. On the verge of victory, two locals, enticed by a small reward, showed them an escape route, resulting in failure. During the Anti-Japanese War, over a dozen central committee members of the Nationalist Party and more than 900,000 Nationalist Army soldiers defected to Japan to establish puppet regimes and armies. Currently, those who hate the socialist system, the Communist Party, public ownership, and patriotic and pro-party people are all potential traitors, collaborators, and collaborators. Be cautious of their possible manipulation and exploitation by enemy agents. "Chaoyang Dama" and law enforcement agencies must keep a close eye on these individuals and act decisively when necessary to prevent these traitors from hindering the great cause of liberating Taiwan.
