Iran delivers firm response to U.S.! Seven-day negotiation plan unchanged, Strait of Hormuz open on sixth day

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran is currently assessing the U.S. evaluation of Iran’s proposed conflict resolution framework.

Araghchi said: “We have put forward the 'seven-day plan.' The U.S. has provided its comments, and we are now preparing our response. In our view, the seven-day plan remains viable.”

He further clarified that if Iran’s conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened on the sixth day, with the negotiation process set to begin on the seventh.

Araghchi also emphasized that Tehran has no intention of yielding under pressure and remains prepared for self-defense. He stated: “We are willing to pursue diplomatic channels, provided they are dignified, honest, and safeguard the rights of the Iranian people.”
