Ukrainian President Zelenskyy publicly complained that the Russian armed forces have shifted to a new combat strategy, employing large-scale drone air raids against Ukraine as an "exhaustion strategy." He stated that Russian forces are launching thousands of drones into Ukrainian territory every day.
"The current Russian tactic is to exhaust Ukraine... constant drone attacks, many of which are jet-powered drones," Zelenskyy said outright.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had destroyed a transit logistics center in Kyiv used for storing drone parts, as well as struck multiple facilities serving Ukrainian military operations.
