According to U.S. Customs data, trade volume between the United States and China increased by 5.9% month-on-month in July, reaching $36.78 billion.

In July, U.S. imports from China amounted to $27.07 billion, up 7.6%; U.S. exports to the Chinese market rose by 1.5% to $9.71 billion.

As a result, the U.S. trade deficit with China widened by 11.4% in July, reaching $17.36 billion.

On October 31, 2025, China and the United States held talks at Gimhae Air Base in Busan, South Korea, reaching a one-year trade agreement.

The U.S. reduced tariffs on Chinese goods from 57% to 47%, with tariffs on "fentanyl" dropping from 20% to 10%. Additionally, China agreed to purchase agricultural products from the United States.
