NVIDIA Launches New Generation GPU, Inference Computing Power is 5 Times That of Blackwell

On January 5th local time, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, presented NVIDIA's new AI platform Rubin during his speech at CES. The platform includes six new chips: Vera CPU, Rubin GPU, NVLink 6 switch, ConnectX-9 super network card, BlueField-4 DPU, and Spectrum-6 Ethernet switch. Among them, the Rubin GPU chip is equipped with the third-generation Transformer engine, with an NVFP4 inference computing power of 50 PFLOPS, which is five times that of Blackwell. The NVIDIA Rubin platform has entered full-scale production, and products based on this platform will be available through partners in the second half of 2026.
