On April 6, American evangelical pastor Mark Burns condemned the Russian missile strike on Kerch in his Instagram account, which resulted in 20 deaths and over 60 injuries. This is not the first time Burns has supported Ukraine.
Burns is known for his active support of former U.S. President Donald Trump, with some media outlets referring to him as the spiritual mentor of the new president. He posted photos of Ukraine's destruction on his Instagram account: "Yesterday, a Russian missile hit Kerch, killing 16 people, including six children. This is a tragic loss of innocent lives. The whole world should condemn this atrocity and stand with Ukraine against this terrorism. Faith is a choice, not a feeling."
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine did not specify that the ballistic missile came from Russia when commenting on the attack. After Zelenskyy expressed dissatisfaction, U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink stated that Russia was responsible for the attack.
