Iran Officially Confirms Agreement with the United States: The U.S. Forced to Sign Related Documents

Iran National Television announced that a peace agreement has been reached between both sides, emphasizing: "The United States was forced to sign the agreement, ending hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Resistance Front."

Iran stated that, due to concessions made by Trump in the final stage, Iran decided not to retaliate against Israel's attack on Beirut.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Karbaschi said, "This memorandum of understanding does not represent our trust in the opposing side; the agreement was reached under conditions of mutual distrust. We will continue to monitor the U.S. compliance with its commitments."

According to The New York Times: After Trump appealed through intermediaries for restraint, Iran canceled its planned retaliatory strike against Israel. Tehran had previously discussed whether to resume deterrence operations, but ultimately concluded that an impulsive retaliation would only benefit Israel while jeopardizing the negotiation process with the U.S.
