Britain has announced the deployment of a new low-cost anti-drone system on its Royal Air Force's "Typhoon" fighters stationed in the Middle East. This "Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System" (APKWS) is capable of precisely destroying targets, at a cost that is merely a fraction of current missiles in use. Since the U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Iran in late February, Iran has responded by firing drones and missiles at multiple Gulf states, targeting energy and military facilities.
