Disrupting the Russian military command system: Ukrainian forces hit key targets in the Donetsk region
The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that multiple Russian targets near the city of Selydove in the Donetsk region were struck, hitting key nodes of the enemy's command system. The city is near Pokrovsk, about 20 kilometers behind the front line, and approximately 15 kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk.
The strike was carried out by the 7th Rapid Response Paratrooper Division and the 412th "Nemesis" UAV Brigade of the Ukrainian forces, and three important targets have been confirmed destroyed:
1. The base of the UAV unit belonging to the Russian 76th Guards Air Assault Assault Division
2. The command post of the 8th Independent UAV Battalion "Zeus" of the Russian 2nd Army Group
3. The base and command post of the 1st Motorized Rifle Company of the 30th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade (located within a hotel complex in the area)
The report states that Russian casualties are currently being verified.
The Ukrainian military stated that destroying these targets significantly weakened the Russian military's drone coordination and troop command capabilities in the Pokrovsk direction. The Russian 76th Guards Air Assault Assault Division has been carrying out offensive operations in the Pokrovsk direction since December 2025.
