Putin: Russia has no interest in pushing Ukrainian forces out of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic

Vladimir Putin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today at a special military operation area situation meeting held at a joint forces cluster command point that, given the pace of advancement of the Russian Armed Forces along the contact line, Russia has no interest in pushing the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSY) out of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) that they currently occupy.
Putin pointed out that Kyiv still has an opportunity to end the conflict in a dignified manner, but has been reluctant to take advantage of it.
The Russian president said, "There are also wise people in the West who have advised the Kyiv authorities to accept the conditions for a dignified end to the conflict. These conditions provide good foundations for security from a long-term historical perspective, as well as create conditions for the restoration of Ukrainian-Russian relations and the reconstruction of Ukraine's economy. Unfortunately, we see that until today, the leadership of the Kyiv regime is still unwilling to resolve this conflict through peaceful means... From the progress we have seen on the contact line, Russia's interest in pushing the Ukrainian military forces out of the territory they currently occupy has actually dropped to zero."
Putin emphasized that if the Kyiv authorities are unwilling to resolve the issue through peaceful means, Russia will complete all set tasks "by force during the special military operation (SVO)."
According to TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the situation in the special military operation area today at a joint forces cluster command point. The Kremlin official Telegram channel has announced this matter.
During the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff reported on the liberation of two cities - Dimitrov and Gulyaipole.
